Water Conservation
These days, water conservation is a huge topic and absolutely necessary for our future. Sixty percent of all the US’s urban water supply is used on landscapes. Unfortunately, most landscapes are overwatered. The Castaic Lake Water Agency is offering free weather-based irrigation controllers to SCV residents in an effort to conserve our water resources; the only cost to you is a low installation fee. Replacing an old irrigation timer with a new smart controller can save thousands of gallons of water and hundreds of dollars per year. The controller works with a wireless weather station that is installed on the property that monitors the weather and adjusts the watering daily. Ask us for more details.
